LoopCurrent is an in-progress performance installation that imagines our environmental impact on the planet and the irrevocably altered future. The "Loop Current" is an oceanographic term describing a flow of warm water that affects the strength of tropical cyclones. The project uses movement, sound, seismology, and interactive textiles to reference Loop Current pathways, their destructive alterations, and looping time, where our past actions weave through our present and future realities.

The first iteration of LoopCurrent was developed during a residency at ART LAB Wyspa/Wyspa Progress Foundation and was made possible thanks to the Between.Pomiedzy Festival and IKM (Urban Culture Institute, Gdańsk, Pl), the New York State Council on the Arts with the support of the Office of the Governor and the New York State Legislature, and The Canada Council for The Arts.

LoopCurrent also includes autonomous prints and textiles which are represented below.
