Desire Lines frames human figures as they move through shifting landscapes. The figures wear survival suits printed with water and migration pathways engineered to protect our future selves as we navigate an increasingly treacherous world. The sound score is created in part from field recordings captured on location with hydrophones and seismic microphones.
Desire Lines is a meditation on how borders, both visible and invisible, reorder space, memory, and the possibility of passage.
